• Create functional designs for an insurer in the context of IFRS17.
• Developing a software solution around Country by Country Reporting, for several listed companies and countries.
  
• Making functional designs for a bank, in which 100 systems were transferred to 1 broker system. Voted best IT project of that bank.
  

Implementation of financial software

Over the years, Jan Nico has been involved in numerous software implementations, especially of financial IT systems.

Projects:

• Implementation of a financial statements model in Tagetik, a reporting and consolidation system, for a large global family business in infrastructure and industrial services, enabling all companies to generate, check and deposit standardised financial statements at the touch of a button.
• Implementation of European ESEF reports in an ESEF reporting package.

Optimising data flows

Every implementation is preceded by an analysis and simplification of the process and the data flows that play a role in it. Jan Nico has also done independent process optimisation projects.

Projects:

• Mapping and optimising the data flows in the administrative and HR processes of an administration office.
• Mapping and optimising the purchasing and financial processes at a global player in climate control products.
• Using an overview of source and target systems for CSRD and simplfying data and reporting flows using a starterkit for a company in the oil and gas sector.
